At WER, many things go into our firm’s makeup.

Our team is youthful, experienced, creative and confident. We are dynamic, passionate, responsible and dedicated. It’s this diversity of talents and traits that helps to strengthen our ability to create powerful architecture for clients.

Philosophy

Since its founding in 1978, WER Architects/Planners has been noted for its tradition of architectural excellence and for its commitment to academic and scientific institutions, corporate and cultural institutions, as well as its celebrated achievements in historic preservation. As one of the state’s larger firms, WER’s size and organization allows it to continue a commitment to creating projects that consider the needs of the individual, combining form and function, to create powerful architecture.

WER has been recognized for refined structures that reinforce the firm’s architectural ideal – timeless, honest architecture well-suited to its context. Projects reflect the principals’ beliefs that sound architecture is a collaborative effort that involves extensive research, rigorous study and thoughtful crafting that ultimately creates environments that are technically and culturally significant while also being sensitive to their surroundings.

CULTURE

With offices in downtown Little Rock and Northwest Arkansas, WER Architects’ studio is an open-office environment conducive to a collaborative design approach by talented architects and interior designers. The WER Architects studio encourages creativity and the exchange of ideas seeking a balance between commodity, sustainability, value and aesthetics.

We are constantly searching for ways to bring new ideas, solutions and success to our clients. This commitment can be seen in the results we deliver.

Awards

When We Win An Award, It's Because

we design each project to meet the unique needs of our clients. So when we are honored with awards it is just as much a celebration for our clients and their facilities, as it is for our design team. Our common vision and passion for design excellence form the foundation of our design team. At WER we engage our clients and all team members in the design process and look for creative solutions to exceed expectations for how a facility not only performs but becomes a part of the greater design landscape.
