WER President, David Sargent, Retires
Everyone at WER is excited to congratulate WER President, David Sargent on his retirement!
David has been a part of WER Architects since 1986 when he was hired as an architectural intern. David rose through the ranks at WER over a 38 year period having served as our CEO and President for the last 12 years. Reflecting back over his career of over 40 years, you will see that his accomplishments and contributions to the state of Arkansas, Little Rock and the WER family are many.
David has lived by a simple motto of taking the opportunity of elevating design in everything he does as an architect and artist. He approaches every challenge looking for an opportunity to enhance the experience of the users through design excellence. As the design leader within the firm, his mentoring has been exhibited through his many design charrettes with young interns, architects and interior designers to promote the opportunities of design excellence in the buildings he designs
David’s legacy will carry forward with the values that he has instilled on the many architects that have worked under his leadership. A legacy of buildings, community service and leadership values that will continue to be a part of the WER Architects tradition. David’s reputation through his craft and service will live on as he transitions to a redefined chapter in his career. Congratulations, David! We will all miss you!
