The former home at 502 West Maple no longer met the space requirements or logistical needs of the ever-growing Pi Beta Phi chapter on the University of Arkansas campus. Lack of program space limited the opportunities for sisterhood within the walls of the home. It had become difficult for members to share dinner, social time, study time, practices and Chapter meetings together.

WER worked with the Pi Phi building committee to design the new 43,000 square foot Chapter house on their current site. By increasing their space, both inside and out, and improving the functionality of the house, there are now opportunities for living and learning spaces and bonding among the women of the chapter.

The new house sleeps 98 girls in a mixture of two, three and four girl rooms. There are study rooms placed throughout the house, a dining room that seats 215, state-of-the-art kitchen facilities, a house director suite, and in the lower level of the home a chapter room large enough to seat 400, an art room, computer lab and workout room.

The house also features multiple outdoor living spaces, including a large social courtyard on the back of the property, for the girls to enjoy the beautiful Fayetteville weather throughout the year - whether dining, studying or just spending time with their sisters.
