Wes Garrett Joins the WER Team

Wes Garrett, AIA, has joined the WER Architects/Planners team as a project architect. As an Architect with twenty-three years experience, Wes brings a “broad-brush” approach to design and architecture. Having experience with diverse project “types,” Wes is as comfortable master-planning a medical office building as he is detailing a piece of millwork for a storage counter. One passion that Wes brings to WER is his desire to leverage technology in the design process. Expanding on WER’s strong foundation of Building Information Modeling (BIM,) Wes is adamant about distilling creative, hand-sketched design drawings and cultivating them into powerful computer generated, three-dimensional imagery both static and animated. Wes is also an advocate of advancing the collaborative design process utilizing peer-to-peer networking and “cloud” based project development tools.
