With two locations in Arkansas, WER Architects’ studio is an open-office environment conducive to a collaborative design approach by talented architects and interior designers. The WER Architects studio encourages creativity and the exchange of ideas seeking a balance between commodity, sustainability, value and aesthetics.
We are constantly searching for ways to bring new ideas, solutions and success to our clients. This commitment can be seen in the results we deliver. WER is a dynamic and growing group with wide-range of skills and experience. The positions offered present an opportunity to join either our Little Rock or Northwest Arkansas office.
Project Architect
We seek to hire an architect with exceptional technical and project management abilities.
5-10 years of professional experience and Revit proficient.
The candidate should be team oriented, self-driven, and highly adaptable, having a diverse skill set and comfort level working with client groups and project stakeholders. They should also be skilled in overseeing project document production in all phases and managing project schedule and budget.
Architect will:
- Work with Principal-in-Charge of project and lead client interaction.
- Develop design concepts and documents during the schematic and design development stages. Coordinate all disciplines and oversee construction document production.
- Assist in the construction administration process.
Interior Designer
We seek to hire an interior designer with 2+ years of professional experience.
The candidate should be a team player, adaptable and highly organized. Knowledge in Revit, Adobe Suite and Rendering Skills (preferably Lumion) are required. Will need to be comfortable presenting to clients and leading meetings.
Interior Designer will:
- Work with Director of Interiors and project architect to develop project design
- Lead client meetings that pertain to interior design and present finish concepts
- Develop design concepts and documents during the schematic and design development stages.
- Assist clients with furniture specifications, ordering, delivery and install
- Assist clients with artwork and accessories as needed
Construction Administration
We seek to hire a construction administration professional. A degree in architecture is preferred, but Construction Management experience will be considered.
The candidate should be team oriented, self-driven, and highly adaptable, having a diverse skill set and comfort level working with client groups, contractors, and project stakeholders.
Construction Admin will:
- Work with the Director of Construction Administration and project architects to oversee Project Construction
- Attend jobsite meetings with the owner and contractor
- Inspect construction in conformance with WER’s construction documents and specifications
- Review and manage construction submittals and pay applications
- Assist the project architect in construction changes and documentation
- CA candidates with Architecture experience will have the opportunity to work outside of CA on projects as well.
Summer Intern
We seek to hire a summer architect intern. Student would preferably be going into their fourth or fifth year. We will have representatives at the University of Arkansas Career Fair on the 25th and would love to talk with you about opportunities.
- Work in a large firm with a multitude of project types and sizes
- See projects in all phases of design and construction with onsite field visits
- Assist with project deliverables
- Assist with renderings and graphics
