Project Details Renovations Adaptive Reuse

WER designed a new headquarters for Arkansas Virtual Academy Public Charter School. The circa 1940’s building is located in downtown Little Rock on historic 7th Street. Arkansas Virtual Academy, also known as ARVA, was the first online charter school in the state of Arkansas and serves over 3,000 virtual students throughout the state. 

The building is two stories with a mezzanine between the first and second floors. The design renovated the first floor and mezzanine, while the third floor has been shelled out for future growth or potential lease space. 

The building is designed to house the administration staff for the school as well as provide valuable space for one-on-one tutoring, group study and special projects, standardized testing and teacher training, as well as special events.

The new headquarters for Arkansas Virtual Academy Public Charter School opened in the summer of 2023.
