The Center for Integrative Nanotechnology Sciences (CINS) on the University of Arkansas at Little Rock campus, provides the analytical capabilities essential to today’s science and engineering related to nanotechnology. WER Architects designed a facility that is composed of specialized laboratories and instruments with emphasis to the structural and chemical composition analysis of nanotechnology related materials. Support for staff and faculty, offices and conference spaces have been provided in the LEED Gold certified structure. CINS is a collaborative research center open to researchers from universities, government laboratories, and industry by providing the opportunity to access major instruments in the areas of electron microscopy, scanning probe microscopy, X-ray diffraction and optical spectroscopy. CINS is a unique resource in the state of Arkansas representing an outstanding opportunity to help solve nanotechnology related materials problems.
